SpoofTrader trading simulator for iPhone, updated with brand new look and feel

SpoofTrader uses historical foreign exchange prices to simulate a trading platform. It allows the user to practice their trading without having to risk any real money or rely on the markets being open and available.

Stephen Wakely, the developer, started writing SpoofTrader shortly after he blew his life savings trying to make a quick buck on the markets. He quickly realised that trading is not as simple as it deceptively seemed. Determined to develop his trading skills, he realised that there was no simple way to quickly work through and study various market scenarios. After working his way through the demo accounts of several brokers, he realised that trading in real time was too slow to learn at an accelerated pace. So unsatisfied with what was available, he set out to write his own.

"I wrote SpoofTrader because it was the app that I needed to work out why I has lost so much money on the markets and what I could do to conquer them the next time."

SpoofTrader has just been updated with a brand new look and feel, "bringing it into the 21st century". To celebrate SpoofTrader is being sold on the AppStore for only $0.99 until 3rd May 2013, after this it will be going to a still reduced price of $2.99.
